Pricing in terms of non alcoholic beverages was exorbitant, water at R130 and a Passion fruit and lemonade R130 a bit ridiculous

One of the waters who served us - Lebo is an absolute star. He offered us 5star service. A huge bummer was my friend ordered 2 items on the menu- oxtail, we were informed it wasn’t ready (at 4pm) and another item I can’t remember which one but also couldn’t be offered. My friend had to settle for something she didn’t truly enjoy. Also you don’t offer any speciality teas which was another let down but a decent enough experience overall.

If exceptional food were the only metric for a great night out, Besos would be an easy recommendation. Unfortunately, a restaurant experience is a package deal, and our recent visit was severely let down by staggering delays and baffling service policies. The Food Credit where it's due: the kitchen clearly knows what it’s doing on the plate. Every item that eventually made its way to our table was really tasty, well-seasoned, and full of flavor. If you manage to get served, you won't be disappointed by the taste. The Service & Timing The main issue lies in the pacing. The wait times between courses were far too long, dragging out the meal to a point where hunger turned into genuine frustration. A slow pace can be forgivable if the atmosphere and drinks soften the blow, but that brings us to the biggest letdown of the evening. Bar & Management Issues The beverage program was a total mess. To start, they were out of almost every alcohol option we initially tried to order. But the real kicker came when we ordered two straightforward shots of tequila. We were flatly denied because—believe it or not—the bar staff stated they needed to save the remaining tequila exclusively for margaritas. Telling paying guests that you can't serve them a basic spirit because you're rationing it for cocktails is a wild level of disorganization. Proper prep work and inventory management should be handled long before doors open, not passed on as an inconvenience to the customer.

Very disappointing experience. We booked an indoor table but were seated outside. Service was extremely slow, with long waits for both food and drinks. The taco system was also frustrating, only three max tacos at a time to share, and because the kitchen staff seemed overwhelmed, you don’t get to choose which ones you receive, despite the waiter taking your order. When the food finally arrived (about an hour later), it was cold, and some of our glasses were chipped. Overall, a very disappointing experience that fell well below expectations.

Went for the “bottomless” tacos [6-9]. Came at 7, only had 6 small tacos before they stopped us at 9 saying the time had elapsed. Wasn’t bad but definitely not worth 300 as you’d rather go to Rodizio or wok n roll to name a few where you actually leave satisfied. Many times the order was wrong but you’re so hungry that you’ll just eat what’s in front of you Hopefully management learns to actually cater properly. Would not recommend
