The Bastille Day dinner was an exceptional event, perfectly organized by management. The wine pairing was brilliant, and the dishes were a true delight. Only one point could be improved based on my experience at my table (which may not be the case for other tables): perhaps it would be possible to reduce the number of courses and slightly increase the portions of the others, as some dishes were excellent. Otherwise the quantity was adequate considering the number of courses (8), but, with the exception of the meat, it could have been more generous (as it was delicious). The downside is that when plates are sparsely filled, the food cools down very quickly, which happened several times during the service, diminishing the overall effect of the sauces, more particularly. Serving on hot plates might improve things, but this would make it more difficult for the staff to handle the plates. Furthermore, preparing everything at the last minute might not have been a good idea, especially since the service was already quite long (starting at 6:30 pm and ending at 11 pm), and exhausting for the waiters. Aside from these minor shortcomings, it's an excellent establishment that I recommend without hesitation, particularly for its knowledge of wines and their history.

We haven't been to Brasserie De Paris for a few years and am happy to report that it is still worth spending the money on their tasting menu. Except for the crayfish dish that was not properly done, the rest of the menu was delicious. The wine menu includes many great options with prices accommodating a wide scope. We're waiting on the new tasting menu and we'll be back!

We were seated in a room which seemed to also serve as the wine cellar. If the seating was meant to be romantic, that effect was spoilt by the constant walk-ins to retrieve wine for other guests. The room was cold and clinical - reminded me of a garage which had been turned into a dining space without too much effort. We have always wanted to see what Brasserie was about but I won't be back.
