    Very nice dinner in the very nice Kark Jooste house - an architectural piece of art. Food was lovely and very tasty - very well executed. Service was top notch with a very understanding team.

    Lovely meal close to the fireplace last night. Had the French Onion soup, my wife Springbok carpaccio. Both sublime. Her duck breast, done pink as it should be was lovely. I arranged beforehand to have a large portuon of Beef Tartare. Sinisa is always n prepared to go the extra mile. Brilliant!

    Good morning, Most of our dishes were of outstanding quality as was on our previous visits to your establishment. My Onion soup however was mostly inedible. I sent it back to the kitchen virtually untouched. There was a heap of onions and a small amount of soup in my bowl. The soup was also overpoweringly winey. The crostini were small thin slices with barely a whisper of the promised chesses. Although it did not spoil the whole day totally it did detract from what is normally a flawless experience.

    The expereince was everything a great dining experience should be! Wenspent 3.5 hrs on the 6 course menu with wine pairing but it felt like only 2! The timing of dishes, the unobtrusive but always timely service, and the very excellent taste profile pairings made this one of our top experiences in SA over 8 years! Thank you!
