    The food was amazing with a beautiful presentation, the food was prepared swiftly. We didn’t feel like we waited for ages. The ambiance was 10/10!

    Everything from making the reservation to being assisted to our seats and the lovely waitress and how quickly we got our drinks and food was top tier. It was truly amazing 10/10

    I spent my birthday at Cabo Beach yesterday. The location is beautiful and the food was very good. Overall, the day itself was nice – mainly because I was surrounded by my friends, not because of the service. Unfortunately, I was quite disappointed with the service. Our waiter did not check on us regularly, and I had to constantly wave him over whenever I wanted to order something new, even though he knew it was my birthday. One of the most frustrating moments was when my friend brought a piece of cake for me. The staff put it in the fridge, but at the end of the day it could not be found. Instead, I was given some small cookies and was told that this was my cake and that it had already been placed in my bag, which was not true. When I questioned this, the situation was brushed off. The tipping situation was also very uncomfortable. I spent almost 2000 Rand for the day, and a 10% service charge was already included in the bill. Despite this, the waiter repeatedly pushed for additional tips. I even rounded up the amount and added extra, yet he made dismissive comments in front of my friends, implying I had only given 10 Rand. I found this disrespectful and embarrassing. I work in the hospitality industry myself and understand service standards, especially at this price point. It’s a pity, because the food and atmosphere have great potential, but the service significantly affected my birthday experience.
