    My second visit to this restaurant together with a stay at the top class adjourning hotel. Springbok carpaccio to die for. All the food(Springbok shank and Lamb chops for the wife) was filled with good flavour and very well prepared.Really enjoyed the evening with excellent service and cosy atmosphere. Being able to enjoy top class Rupert wines at cellar prices is a great advantage. Dessert can do with some work….. Will be passing by here again.

    I am sorry to say that this time around we did not enjoy our dining experience at the Camdeboo. The menu was very limited. I had the pork belly that was mediocre. My husband and our friends had lamb curry that was ordinary and my friends rib eye steak was too thin and overcooked. The ambience of the hotel and interior of the restaurant was great as always. The service was slow but understandable seeing that it was during the Stoeptasting weekend.
