We at De Vette Mossel strive to offer much more than merely perfectly prepared seafood – this is an experience, in unusual and informal surroundings, where you relax with friends (old ones and newly found ones) where your time is your own and where you may eat as much as you like – just like we do along the West Coast.

The different dishes are prepared and presented one after the other as a rolling buffet. We strive to prepare seafood perfectly, and to serve it immediately thereafter. This guarantees freshly prepared seafood on the plate – an absolute must for exceptional seafood.

    What a fantastic place to kick out your sandals and have a true feeling of being at the beach. Food was fantastic, I am sure all the guest walked out with full bellies. Will definitely recommend to friends and family.

    Best food that you will ever have in your life . Why pay 5 star rates when you can have a 10 star meal by the sea away from the sea . The host is amazing and makes the experience memorable . thanks for everything guys and keep up the super good place you have there.

    Sal hulle aanbeveel vir almal. My pa is Oktober 2023 oorlede en dit was een van sy drome gewees om ons as gesin te vat om daar te gaan eet. 24April is sy verjaarsdag en ons as gesin het gedink wat sal beter wees as om daar te gaan eet. Ek moet sê dit was wonderlik gewees. Jy kan mens wees skoene uitskop en net jou self wees kind en groot mens kuier n klip uit die bos uit daar.

    Thank you! My sister thoroughly enjoyed her birthday experience, the complimentary drink she got was a nice surprise. The food was exceptionally good, even better than on previous visits. I always enjoy the bread, sweet potato and cheesy veggies. Also, the best koeksusters I've tasted in a very long time. Would be nice if you had some of these for sale. Thanks for the extra bread when we left. Having the bathrooms downstairs is a great improvement. Being allowed to bring cooler boxes is a wonderful initiative. The calamari and catch of the day were a little smaller than expected but the prawns were delicious. I saw that the restaurant had a little facelift - well done. I'll definitely be back.
