We at De Vette Mossel strive to offer much more than merely perfectly prepared seafood – this is an experience, in unusual and informal surroundings, where you relax with friends (old ones and newly found ones) where your time is your own and where you may eat as much as you like – just like we do along the West Coast.

The different dishes are prepared and presented one after the other as a rolling buffet. We strive to prepare seafood perfectly, and to serve it immediately thereafter. This guarantees freshly prepared seafood on the plate – an absolute must for exceptional seafood.

    Awesome Sunday spent at De Vette Mossel - Harties. Even with the rainy weather, food freshly and deliciously prepared and served warm. The buffet menu was excellent. We ordered extras, but ended up taking it home. Will definitely return.

    The vibe, service and value are all great! Unfortunately, the food left a lot to be desired - overall tasteless, or everything tastes the same. I believe when dining at a restaurant that primarily serves seafood, it should be a crime if the bread was the best part of your meal. The value for money is definitely there, but the food needs some love and attention. Until someone mentions to me that the quality has increased, this will unfortunately be my last time supporting De Vette Mossel.
