Situated on Kanu wine farm, Du Vin is the new benchmark for asian fusion cuisine in Stellenbosch.

By pairing good wine and good food, our chefs have designed a modern asian fusion menu that stimulates the tastebuds and seduces your palate when paired alongside our award-winning wines.

Our restaurant is designed on the Japanese style of “izakaya” which introduces the customer to a variety of dishes & snacks to accompany alcoholic drinks served to encourage sharing.

    We were 8 people visiting for Du Vin in celebration of my birthday as we haven't visited in a while (we used to be borderline "usuals"). The portion sizes were so small, it was upsetting. We ordered pulled pork burgers (4), pesto pasta and Du Vin burger all of which had hardly one potato worth of chips. The buns were small and it was mostly slaw and very little meat... at R165, a takeaway alternative would have been better value for money (and more satisfying). The medium margarita pizza was decent in size and taste though. The epitome of my frustration was the kiddies chicken strips and chips. Honestly, the name hardly justifies using plurals - I was disgusted. A bill of R2,000 and all guests left feeling underwhelmed? I don't think we would be back despite the impeccable service and friendly staff. We loved the putt putt and beautiful grounds, but this is simply not what lunch should comprise of. Terribly disappointing birthday visit...

    Delicious food. It was very busy so service was a bit slow, but understandable. Next time will sit on the verandah-looked beautiful

    We were a table of 6 and enjoyed pizzas and burgers. We sat outside on a beautiful sunny Saturday. Very peaceful and enjoyed the view. Staff are friendly and hospitable.
