Situated on Kanu wine farm, Du Vin is the new benchmark for asian fusion cuisine in Stellenbosch.

By pairing good wine and good food, our chefs have designed a modern asian fusion menu that stimulates the tastebuds and seduces your palate when paired alongside our award-winning wines.

Our restaurant is designed on the Japanese style of “izakaya” which introduces the customer to a variety of dishes & snacks to accompany alcoholic drinks served to encourage sharing.

    We visited the restaurant for my husband's birthday, after a previous fantastic experience. This time the food was TASTELESS and bland! Salmon wasn't cooked properly. Ribeye steak overcooked, tasteless and chewy. Pizza - bland and flavourless. Not everything that we ordered arrived at the table - no explanation as to why. I emailed the restaurant to take up the matter offline, but they chose not to respond to my query. A NOT SO NICE experience and make us want to reconsider to visit this restaurant again! :-( Definitely worth the money we spent on a birthday dinner that was a disaster!

We addressed the matter and your feedback with all our managers in all the departments across the board and all staff to prevent another guest from such a terrible experience, we do take feedback from our guests very seriously as the team pride themselves on building exceptional relationships with all our guests. the Chef takes a lot of pride in his food and kitchen brigade that works under him, he has addressed the complaint with all his junior staff to prevent a repeat of such an event.     Pizza was extremely disappointing. Base chewy and not baked enough. Filling was practically nothing. Burgers were below average. Will not visit again or recommend. you.

    I liked the Asian fusion idea which was my primary reason for choosing this restaurant on a wine farm. Also noticed that they do a wine pairing with sushi, a very novel idea. The food was good value for money. The restaurant overlooks a nice garden. They have verandah seating as well as some outside seating [which I did not explore]. The service was fair. I enjoyed the satay noodle dish with peanut butter sauce & nuts while my wife enjoyed a pizza. The variety to choose from is decent.
