A deeply unfashionable approach to modern life - embracing butter, cream and wine. Not plant based, unless you're talking about grapes. Advocates of a bit of indulgence. A small restaurant with a lot of heart. Good stuff, done well.

    The Farro-team understand balance like no other. We spent a lovely Sunday afternoon on the Gabrielskloof Estate feasting. Each and every course was divine and well balanced. The Farro-team know exactly what the intent is of every item on their menu and run like a well-oiled machine. It is a privilege to experience Farro and we can't wait to visit again. Starters: Whipped Smoked Mackerel & Beef Shin Scrumpet Mains: Pan Fried Yellowtail & Confit Pork Belly Desert: Polenta & Almond Cake Drinks: Bot Bier, Crystallum - The Agnes (Chardonnay), Negroni & No-groni We also purchased some of their Plum Cordial and we are savoring every drop.

    We found the portion of the pork belly very small and the price very expensive. For the amount charged , the portion should be bigger. First time visit. My grandson’s name is Gabriel. I’m glad we took a day trip out on the N2 from Bredasdorp. Love and Peace to you all!

    Really lovely meal in a beautiful setting. Such a wonderful place to stop along the N2 for a delicious lunch on a road trip. Great wines selection too!

    Beautiful setting and decor. I enjoyed the pan-fried kabelou in a prawn sauce very much. Lovely Chenin blanc wine to accompany the meal.
