Owned and run by husband and wife team Alex & Eloise Windebank, the couple have restored a historic Victorian terraced house in Cape Town's Gardens neighbourhood to home their restaurant. Featuring a cocktail bar, an open kitchen & upstairs dining rooms, Farro invites guests to enjoy a refined dining experience in a timeless setting.

    Farro did not meet up to our expectations . The small house in gardens is lovely although we missed the view on table mountains as the window was blurred . The staff was trying their best but could not serve us a gin tonic as there was no tonic in the bar . We had a five course menu of which the starters ; bread - beignet and pickles were great , the courses after were mediocre and did not blow us away with taste unfortunately. With all the great high level restaurants in and around Capetown Farro needs to make a step .. I think they are able too .

    Fantastic meal in a cute house in Gardens with a view of Table Mountain from the upstairs dining room The staff were extremely friendly and charming and the atmosphere was relaxed.

    A wonderful new addition to Cape Town's dining landscape. A step into more refined cuisine from what was on offer at Gabrielskloof, but with beautiful attention to detail and dedication to flavours. All paired (if you like) with one of the most interesting wine lists in the city right now. Cosy dining spaces add to the charm.
