Folk Cafe is a family friendly restaurant located in St James, beside the iconic St James tidal pool. Folk offers an excellent variety of food, with a focus on using ethical ingredients (free range, grass fed and organic) that are locally sourced and produced wherever possible.

All of the cakes are baked in house and food from the seasonal menu is made fresh, and to order, for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The wood fired pizza can't be beat! There is also an extensive wine offering, beer on tap, milkshakes and smoothies for those with a sweet tooth, plus we roast and distribute our own signature coffee.

The location offers a playground for the kids and a sea view for the adults, live music every Saturday afternoon and a large outdoor area to accommodate bigger groups.

    It was a good idea to book inside during winter. We were a table of 9 & the service was good, with our food arriving simultaneously. It was a lovely afternoon with a relaxing ambience.

    Watched the Springboks play Scotland on the big screen. Good crowd, fireplace going.... Was also served the best pizza I've had this year so far (Quattro Stagioni with Artichokes swapped for Anchovies - try it!).
