    Our waiter was not good. My pasta was not well made. The ambience is awesome. One of the best.

    We, and our guests, really enjoyed our experience at Forking Good yesterday. Glen, our server, was excellent, attentive, friendly and very helpful. The food was really good, and it is a very nice venue. Highly recommended.

    Food was excellent when it arrived but service was chaotic. We were a big table of 10. Four ordered starters and all 10 ordered mains. instead of bringing the starters first the starters for the four arrived with the mains for the other six. #So when six had finished their meal the other four were still waiting for their main course. the last four meals came in dribs and drabs so we had the situation where six of us had finished half an hour before three had finished quite a bit later and the last person was still waiting for her meal to arrive . Supervision seemed non existent. i had pork ribs which were excellent but will not return as this was our second visit and on both occasions the service has been poor. I pointed out the chaos to the manager who did not seem too concerned. i spent over R3000 for the group and left with the impression that they did not care about their clients.

    I have been to Forking good about 5 times now and we always had a great time, food & service is great. I would say always book over weekends as they get busy. I look forward to the Summer menu when we get there.

    It’s my second time coming here and it’s just exceptional. I tell everyone I know to come here; the food, the service, the vibe… it’s just exquisite. There is also an amazing waiter there, Khule, he gives the most excellent service. Can’t wait to go there again.

    No one told us the outside seating was under construction and we had to sit next to the bar which was disappointing . Next time state on the website that the outside seating is under construction otherwise we would have made an inside seating reservation!
