    This was our first visit to the new Foxcroft, and we were not disappointed. We had a window table on a gorgeous, sunny winter’s day, looking out over the new garden area to the Constantia Valley below, with the Hottentots-Holland mountains in the distance—a truly wonderful dining experience. The décor of the new restaurant, while simple, is beautifully detailed. The crockery, with its fox-tail motif front and centre, is equally striking. The thought and effort that has gone into transforming what was once the tired old Constantia Nek Restaurant is breath-taking. Amelia was our waitress; she was wonderful and quintessentially professional—as were all the others who looked after us. The wine list is extensive marred a bit by prices I think are quite high. I was given great wine recommendations to accompany y meal. Chef Glen took the time to chat with us and share his vision for the new Foxcroft at Constantia Nek which we greatly enjoyed and appreciated. We had the winter special menu, which offers excellent value and more than satisfies. Starting with the salt-crusted bread (fresh out of the oven) served with truffled cauliflower and roasted yeast—a taste sensation that paired beautifully with the courses that followed. My main of cannon of lamb was the best I’ve had in a long time, while my wife’s gnocchi with turnip salsa verde could almost turn me vegetarian. Dessert—a chestnut, toffee, and burnt vanilla creation—ended the meal on a high note. And not to be overlooked, great coffee. Open only now for four months, with the new venue, the setting, and the overall dining experience, Foxcroft’s big brother up the hill might well be in for a run for their money in the months to come.

    Really beautiful venue, lovely bathroom ;O) The view is gorgeous. Staff very professional & friendly. Food - wonderful experience - looking, tasting, mouth feel - very thrilling for a plant-based chef - I only wish I had more info on the ingredients used to understand better what I was eating.... the staff do run through it - but on paper would be nice to follow and better grasp ;O) More pricey than what we usually do - but good experience ;O) thank you

    My first visit to Foxcroft at the new venue, although I have been to little fox. which was also amazing. Service was amazing the chef even took time to say hi. very talented chef. And it was also just what my BF needed after just loosing her mother. Thankyou
