    Prince the waiter was slow and often we got assistance from others on basic table clearing etc and food followup feedback. The starters were great. The mains we ordered steaks and requested rare , to medium. We both received medium and they were tough to cut and chew ? Not what we were exspecting and ruined the special date for us.

    We booked very easily on-line, and they followed up with a phone call to check, which was good. Being Friday evening it was very full of customers, but we had a nicely placed table for 3. The crowd were very lively and the decor doesn't absorb any sound, so it was very loud, and we found it difficult to hear each other chat, and converse with our waiter, Shepherd. He was excellent in caring and helping us, bringing drinks very speedily. Our meal took ages to arrive because of the large number of diners, but when it did arrive it was well worth the wait. I ordered 300g Rump steak well done, with skin-on fries and side-salad. The steak was probably the best I have had in South Africa, and the chips and salad were excellent. So our order was perfectly handled! Thank you so much, Gaucho. At last I've found a steakhouse worth returning to. But not over the weekend!!

    Food is always bursting with flavour. Churros were not as great as usual with some baking powder aftertaste.

    There was a very long strand of hair found in my partners steak and it was so stuck...not really pleasing

    Our favourite restaurant in Jhb! The food is absolutely delicious and we love the style and vibe. There are so many dishes we still want to try so we'll be visiting again soon
