    Couldn’t have had a worse Valentine’s experience, I might as well have had dinner at Mugg and Bean. Upon arrival, the host greets us with a forced hello, no smile, and a table with four place sets even though we had a reservation for 2. It then took 15 minutes to be waited on at all, and when we finally got waited on, our waiter was incredibly rude. The food was also incredibly subpar for the price — if I’m paying R400 for fish I’d like for the sauce to not be 50% oil. Safe to day that I’ll never be returning to the Grand Pavilion, and I don’t recommend that anyone else does either. There are far better dining experiences available in Sea Point at this price point.
