    My partner and I (a chef and food writer) were absolutely blown away by our experience at Hari Kitchen. Being at the end of our South Africa trip, we only had one full day to enjoy Stellenbosch - so we wanted to spend the day connecting with uniquely local, preferably Black-owned businesses. From beginning to end, this lunch was a joy. We were warmly welcomed by our host (Matthew, I think) who made us feel right at home, seating us in the outdoor corner with a view of the rolling vineyards. He explained every course + wine selection well, answering all our questions. We ordered: Oysters - perfectly dressed in a fresh ginger vinaigrette Sea Bass Fish Cake with Citrus Mbare Salad Black Angus Steak Tartare 11 Hour Braised Beef Cheek Butter Poached Crayfish Cape Malay Malva Pudding 70

    Such a beautiful day and had a wonderful setting with the view of the mountains. We had the surprise menu and everything was just exquisite and having variouswines. Thank you!

    We have had a wonderful experience. The service and the cook are very passionate and love what they do. We get food with flavours so colourful like Soth Africa. What a treat!
