We are a family-owned wine estate in Stellenbosch offering beautifully crafted wines, delicious lunches featuring local, seasonal produce, tours of our underground cellar and views of 60 hectares of pristine, conserved wetlands.

    We had a lovely time at Hartenberg recently. The wines were excellent and the food was very good. Inoya provided a fantastic customer experience, taking time to explain the wines and the history of the estate. Definitely appreciated the ability to taste and purchase older vintages. Will definitely be back!

    We booked picnic and got confirmation via email. After the wine tasting the informed us that they don’t offer picnic anymore. We had a platter which was disappointing.

In keeping with our love of the land, we’ve moved away from single-use packaging when serving picnics a year ago and now offer freshly prepared picnic platters instead. We understand how disappointing it must have been if you were expecting a traditional picnic, and we regret the frustration this caused.     A very pleasant lunch was enjoyed by use we would like to thank management for the lunch voucher. We had a platter for one starter for the table and all I can say is what an important on our previous experience.Then for main course we had the pan fried trout and beef burgers greatly enjoyed by all three of us once again many thanks.

    It was a very nice stay at the Estate. Because my family name is also Hartenberg it made it a bit more beautiful. During the wine cellar tour and tasting we heard a lot of history and was also nice to hear. I will come back when the property tour is available in the near future.     Small menu, but dishes are well prepared and tasty, the wine is next level wine, worth a try
