We are a family-owned wine estate in Stellenbosch offering beautifully crafted wines, delicious lunches featuring local, seasonal produce, tours of our underground cellar and views of 60 hectares of pristine, conserved wetlands.

    A beautiful venue which always delivers and returns many happy memories over some 40 years or so. Delightfully simple meal, had the salmon salad paired with an unwooded chardonnay. Delicious. Well located private and quiet table with a view and 5 star service. Thank you Hartenberg.

    Wonderful experience for a tasting and lunch - service was great, the stories about the wines are lovely. The lunch menu is very simple but delicious, expect seasonal, fresh ingredients, the grazing platter was delicious and unique. Beautiful location, even on a wintery day, we enjoyed the coziness of the tasting room with fireplace and views of the vineyards.

    Thank you for the wonderful experience and service. My party was a great success and my guests enjoyed themselves. Loved the ambience in the picnic area. Thank you also to the staff for being very helpful and always checking up on our every need.

    This has been one of my favourite wine estates for more than 20 years and every time I go there, I am never disappointed! My partner and I celebrated our anniversary with a picnic there this year and it was spectacular - tranquil, beautiful, unique, and the food was delicious! Of course, the wine speaks for itself. :)
