With arguably the best view overlooking the Franschhoek Wine Valley, dining with us at Haute Cabrière is as beautiful as it is delicious.

As with our approach to wine, our food philosophy centres on moments to be enjoyed together.
We believe that coming together around the table, as family always has, is a celebration of life, stories, togetherness and of course, wonderful food and wine.

Join us as part of our family and eat, drink and chat on our sun-soaked restaurant terrace in Franschhoek. Our menus are inspired by classic French dishes with a twist – combining local ingredients and the von Arnim family’s love of innovation.

    Loved our meal. Pauline served us and was the best server we’ve had during our 3 weeks in South Africa. The food was phenomenally good and the paired wines were delicious.

    My main course meat (springbok loin ) was so tough itv was impossible to eat. The staff were reluctant or not empowered to do anything other than say they would not charge for the dish I could not eat (I should think not!!) or provide another main course but this was after my wife had finished her meal and it is not pleasant eating on your own. Don’t think we shall be going there again.

    Very hospitable Ran out of fish sadly. Did a accommodate a change for us with wine to match. Generally a great experience

    My dining experience was poor but the issues were rectified by the staff and the manager. The property is stunning, as is the view. This venue appears to be a well oiled machine but like a machine things can go wrong. It was disappointing as it was our last day in Franschhoek.
