It’s a spot for casual comfort food – think dishes like alcohol-free beer-battered hake, a BBQ pulled pork burger on a brioche bun, prawn tagliatelle in a spicy tomato bisque sauce or smoked chicken breast with green beans, charred bell peppers, salty capers, coriander and an orange dressing. Infinity is also a beacon of breezy indulgence; the perfect space to take in cosmopolitan views with laid-back Mother City ease where one cocktail from our superb cocktail list, which celebrates all the classics, can quickly spiral into two or three … or more. Not to be missed is the namesake drink, the Infinity Cocktail – shaken with Bacardi, mango, strawberry and curaçao, it’s bursting with the flavours of the tropics.

    I was under the incorrect impression that this restaurant on the 26th floor of this hotel has good views but it turned out that there is only one or two tables with a view. The decor is nice and upmarket and the service was good although we were only one of 4 tables in the whole restaurant on a Saturday evening. There is a floor higher up with a Bar and lounge and spectacular views but some DJ was making music that did not suit us at all. Apparently you can order from the lunch menu there if you feel like having an more informal dinner but this is a lounge setup. The food was of good quality and tasteful although barely warm. Clearly the lamb shank was defrosted(?) to just above room temperature and arrived at our table within 5 min after ordering. We shared a desert which was really good and saved the evening a bit. Parking was free in the hotel parking area. Overall a mediocre experience and we won’t go back.

    Don't waste your time. After being seated, we waited 15min for a server to come to the table to take a drink order, so walked around the restaurant trying to find someone who could take our order. Once a server came over, she said "I guess I'll take your drink order"...no clarity as to whether she would be our server or not for the evening. All tables around us waited 20-30min for whatever course they were on. The table next to us waited 26min from when they were seated to when we left and there was not so much as a glass of water on the table. Food, when it came was overcooked. View is overrated, once seated "at the window" you stare at a wall. Brutal date night location, don't go.
