    From the moment we arrived at Ischia Restaurant Stellenbosch, it felt like stepping straight into a modern Italian dream right here in the Cape Winelands. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between elegant and relaxed — chic Mediterranean vibes with warm hospitality that makes you feel instantly at ease. We started with fresh antipasti and drinks, but the real highlight was the spaghetti — cooked perfectly al dente, with every strand whispering of authentic Italian technique and passion. The fish was another revelation: beautifully fresh, expertly seasoned, and so tender it practically melted on the palate — the kind of dish that makes you close your eyes and lean into every bite. And then… the dessert. Watching the tiramisu prepared tableside was pure theatre — a creamy, coffee-kissed finale that brought laughter, smiles, and a sweet sense of celebration to the table. It wasn’t just a dessert, it was an experience — vibrant, playful, and utterly delicious.     Our favourite restaurant in the Stellenbosch area. Excellent food cooked in the genuine Italian way, attractive wine list, all favourably priced ……. Served by a friendly staff.
