    The service was excellent; welcoming, prompt, attentive but not over powering. The courses were freshly prepared, lovely flavours and well plated. I could see the chef and his staff were immaculately attired and the kitchen was exceptionally clean. We had slow cooked lamb shoulder which was very tender, on artichoke puree, very nice red wine sauce and inventive vegetables with fresh herbs. A local wine was suggested and we took advantage of the offer. Very interesting to see the tiramisu assembled at the table. I had a brief congratulatory chat with the chef as we were leaving. We will definitely visit again. It is only a 15 minute drive from our house with no issues of traffic jams or parking.

    Delicious lunch on Sunday. I had the grilled Cape Salmon with caponata, a glass of Sangiovese and the semifreddo with pistachios and warm fig. Stephan had the seafood risotto, wine and the gelato. Thank you, everyone

    Awesome authentic Italian cuisine. Loved the calamari and zucchini starters. Their pastas are fantastic and the Tiramisu and cassata were excellent. Thanks for a stunning meal!

    As always, a meal at Ischia is not only a wonderful gastronomic experience but also almost an event. The food is excellent, the people are incredibly friendly and the ambience and design of the restaurant is just delightful. A true find close to Stellenbosch where a delightful meal was enjoyed by all of us.
