Nestled on Bonte Rivier Vineyards (formerly Bilton wines), Klein Alto serves as Alto’s home away from home while our estate undergoes exciting renovations over the upcoming years.

Join us for a memorable dining experience in our beautifully restored historic cellar building, Atrium or relax on our outdoor deck seating overlooking majestic views of the Helderberg Mountain.

    KleinAlto is definitely our favourite place ! The new restaurant is brilliant! The views & the decor is beautiful and extremely relaxing. The food is excellent & always consistent. All of the staff are adorable !!! Gabriella, Harold, Fatima, Kuda & are very helpful, professional & friendly. Likho's interest, knowledge & enthusiasm of the wine is excellent ! .... The coffee is exceptional & finishes off the meal perfectly !..... Always a thoroughly enjoyable experience !!!

    Been several times recently, the food is consistently excellent and the superb wines are great value. Steaks cooked to perfection and the varied menu will please all. The restaurant, deck and atrium area are beautiful whatever the weather. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable . It's our goto place and we'll return over and over again.

    Time felt like it froze for a moment and we wish it did so we could enjoy our dinner for longer, it was absolutely a stunning experience and I highly recommend it for people looking for a unique dining experience!!

    Although there was more than enough staff, it took 20 minutes before someone came to our table. Apart from that we had a great time. Nice wine, good food, great atmosphere.
