We are the oldest red wine only wine estate in South Africa and home to the Iconic Alto Rouge red blend.

Our restaurant has a small indulgent menu; using fresh, locally sourced ingredients our chef creates hearty, flavourful dishes that pair perfectly with our wines.

    The only negative was the mud from the parking to restaurant, we enjoyed the visit and will definitely be back.

    What a treat to visit Klein Alto, the food was exceptional, dishes were beautifully presented and tasted amazing. The lamb was tender and full of flavour, and the presentation was elegant. The fish was also presented beautifully and tasted delicious. Dessert was very enjoyable—the cheesecake was excellent, and the apple compote, while tasty, was a little too creamy for my preference. Overall, a wonderful dining experience with great attention to both flavor and presentation.
