Nestled on Bonte Rivier Vineyards (formerly Bilton wines), Klein Alto serves as Alto’s home away from home while our estate undergoes exciting renovations over the upcoming years.

Join us for a memorable dining experience in our beautifully restored historic cellar building, Atrium or relax on our outdoor deck seating overlooking majestic views of the Helderberg Mountain.

    We had a wonderful experience at Klein Alto Restaurant. The setting is absolutely beautiful, creating the perfect atmosphere to relax and enjoy a great meal. The food was exceptional, beautifully presented, and full of flavour, while the service was warm, attentive, and professional throughout our visit. Every detail contributed to a memorable dining experience, and it's clear that the team takes pride in delivering outstanding hospitality. We will definitely be returning and highly recommend Klein Alto Restaurant to anyone looking for a special dining experience.

    What a great lunch on a cold winter’s day! The burgers were delicious and service outstanding. The fireplace and dining area were perfectly cozy!

    Thank you to the Klien Alto team. My wife and I had a wonderful birthday there and this was well facilitated by the Restaurant team. Harold our waiter was absolutely amazing, he made the experience extra special.

    Always great. Highly recommended. Just the purchasing of wine very messy. Prices and vintages and special discounts all very complicated. We tried to buy but gave up. But love the environment and the food and the service.
