Nestled on Bonte Rivier Vineyards (formerly Bilton wines), Klein Alto serves as Alto’s home away from home while our estate undergoes exciting renovations over the upcoming years.

    After 3 visits the last year I can honestly review Klein Alto. It’s mainly about the location, especially the deck is nice for a relaxt Sunday lunch. The food is just average, not bad but for this price point you can get better quality at upmarket restaurants in the area. It looks good though ;) This time: carpaccio and veggies unnecessarily oily, croquettes more potato than salmon and therefore quite bland. Burger is nice, fries too thick and soaked in oil as well. Squid was nice and juicy. Staff is friendly but last Sunday very slow and didn’t really follow-up on anything, only if we want to buy bottles of wine…
