    Kleinkaap remains one of my favourite venues in Pretoria. Beautiful and graceful old building, excellent staff and a peaceful setting where you can have conversation without screaming.

    Kleinkaap is one of my most favorite places to visit. It feels as if I am on a beautiful holiday destination, but it is on my doorstep. In a city.

    This was such a disappointment. We booked for my husband's birthday. The place looks badly managed. Our table reservation was not known to them. They ran around getting us a table. Fire place was not on. No music, the hall was quiet, and the atmosphere felt very unwelcome and uncomfortable. Tables that people had eaten at were not cleared. Service was truly bad. We always wanted to visit Kleinkaap, but what a disappointment. Maybe they have better venue service, but restaurant is very badly managed and what we saw the place is run down. Food and drink took very long and the food was very average. The fire wood pizza that they advertise was not good either, not fresh, frozen pizza heated in wood oven. Side salad was old or pre-made. Could not eat it. We drove all the way from Hartbeespoort, for the evening. We will not recommend. Very disappointing.
