Knus Karoo Kombuis is the realisation of a dream to create a beautiful space in Paarl that serves traditional Karoo fare.

Lovingly prepared and beautifully presented, every bite delivers thought through Karoo flavours. But it's about more than the food and flavours, for us it is about bringing people together with Karoo hospitality.

    I have been at Knus Karoo Kombuis a few times and decided to bring some friends who did not know about Knus. They were so impressed with the food, service and surroundings that they already made a date with other friends to introduce them to Knus as well. There is absolutely nothing we could fault. The food as always was outstanding and the personnel friendly and helpful. The gardens are a feast for the eyes. A very special place to visit and they have never disappointed me.

    Our first time visiting Knus Karoo Kombuis and we were very pleasantly surprised at the beautiful venue, the delicious food and the good service. We started with cappuccinos, which were strong and frothy, with a tasty brownie bite on the side. I had the karoo lamb breakfast; the poached eggs were soft as requested, the pulled lamb was plentiful, and the hollandaise sauce was served on the side, also as requested. My friend ordered the french toast: lots of bacon and she enjoyed the green fig preserve on the side. After the meal, I ordered a hot chocolate, which came with a crisp biscuit, and the traditional pancakes; two pancakes with lemon, cinnamon and sugar. I could only manage to eat one so I was given a take-away box for the second one. All the food was very tasty, beautifully presented and the helpings were generous. The service was friendly and prompt. I would highly recommend this venue and we will definitely be visiting again.

    Ordered the Karoo lamb wrap but received the roosterkoek instead which was disappointing - other than that the space is very nice & the gourmet milkshake lives up to it's name
