    We had been guests at a lunch recently at Brookdale and returned for a couples dinner which was as lovely an experience as previously. Staff are charming and knowledgeable, the property is set in stunning views and grounds, the restaurant is comfortable and elegant. The menu is seasonal and extensive with options for all palates. Our food was delicious and we were given superior service throughout our meal. Wine list is excellent and there is something for all with an a great variety. We have booked again and highly recommend. Thank you to Chef/Patron who always visits the be certain all his guests are satisfied.

    The picnic area advertises by water but there was no water in sight. Although it was a sweet location we were sat at, beautifully set up, it was not as advertised which I think the establishment should be aware of. We waited a very long time for our desserts which I think our waiter had forgotten. It would have been nice to hear from the waiter how long til we got our food and bringing the desserts when we asked for coffee and tea. We got our coffees and 1 hour later followed up on the dessert which we ended up taking home as it got late.

    Again, a great lunch! We shared the chicken tostada (blackboard) and for mains the burger and caesar salad. Both perfectly cooked and the skinny fries are the best there are. It took quite some time for the food to arrive but that had nothing to do with the attentiveness and of the staff. Everyone is so friendly.
