    Despite booking almost a month in advance and discussing the table seating because there were 2 guests in wheelchairs we were given the wrong table so we had to wait while the table that was booked was prepared. Despite the restaurant not being busy inside our service was very inattentive we waited almost 10 min for our bill and poured our own drinks very disappointed for a special birthday lunch (9pax) for my daughter

    Ordering eight out of ten times the burger in a restaurant, I think I’m in the position to call myself a connoisseur. Which brings me to judging the burger of Le petit Paris in Franschhoek. To start with the bun. It’s clearly fresh, lightly (just a bit too lightly for my taste) toasted, and firm enough to hold all the goodies of the inside together. It’s rather savory than sweet (like a brioche) which is perfect. The patty is juicy, tasteful meat, nice and chunky with a bit of bark on the outside and balanced seasoning. The bacon stands out exactly enough to go hand in hand with the cheddar. I’m normally not a fan of cheddar, but this one is nice and thick, juicy and perfectly melted all the way. The Japanese mayo, together with the red onion marmalade give it the extra kick to really stand outl. On the side skinny fries, fried perfectly. Crispy, but not dry. Truth to be told: this is the second time I ordered this bacon&cheese burger at Le petit Paris. And the second time was just as splendid as the first time, which is a ten out of ten for consistency. On to the third time.

    It was such a refreshing experience. The La Paris Bistro team who helped us were friendly, courteous and polite. It was a real pleasure dealing with the team, and I believe that the manager is a great ambassador for La Paris Bistro. The team represents what true customer centricity means. A job well done! Thanks for making Bella's birthday one that will always be cherished and remembered.
