    Went here for Afternoon Tea with a friend for my birthday. We absolutely loved it. Only negative comment is that they were sold out of 2 of the 4 pastries you get to pick from (you can pick 2), so we had to take what was in stock by default. None the less it was still delicious. I have been to Laduree in Paris and Dubai, and the one in the Waterfront is just as good.

    I'm happy to see Ladurée in Cape Town and thrilled to savour French delicacies and desserts. No doubt that the quality is here, and I hope you won't change to adapt to the South African market like french bakeries did. I liked my vol au Vol and loved my Plaisir Sucré. I'll definitely come back for other treats, and most probably the breakfast. I enjoyed the Friday night live music, but was a bit annoyed by the other customers who don't respect the artist and the other customers and play music on their phone or chat/laugh louder than the music. You made a good work in reproducing a French Ladurée Tea shop under our latitudes, but I felt that a shopping mall is not the right place for it, as you lose the cosiness and warmth you should have for an afternoon tea. I felt there is a gap between the price you pay and the location where you see shoppers and hear the shoppers and shopping mall music. Next time I'll come, I'll seat in the caffe itself and not on the terrasse. In any case, you'll see me again!

    We had exceptional service by the waiter who was attentive throughout and sang happy birthday for my 9 year old daughter while the piano player accompanied him! Great experience and we will be back!
