L’ami Family Brasserie invites friends and families to enjoy each other’s company while sharing delicious food and wine that not only honour La Motte’s French heritage, but also local traditions in a modern and informal way.

An A la Carte menu is served for lunch from Wednesday to Saturday as well as for dinner on Fridays and Saturdays. This seasonal menu celebrates the concept of farm to table and focuses on locally sourced ingredients and honest flavours with elements of open-fire cooking. It also offers options for children.

Guests are invited into the spacious and relaxed indoor restaurant or to enjoy the estate gardens and the ambience of the age-old oaks from the wrap-around stoep.

The wine list concentrates on La Motte wines available at cellar door pricing, but also presents South Africa’s lovely diversity with a selection of local wines as well as some European favourites.

    Our meal was superb 😋😋😋⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Melissa our waitron was fantastic too. We visited La Motte 2 Sundays in a row because L’Ami was fully booked on 18th January. There was only 1 small disappointment - the superb La Motte MCC was finished 🥂🥂🥂😢

    Wonderful experience. Only negative is that we feel the main courses could have come with a starch as opposed to having to pay extra for some potatoes with our steak. Also, didn’t like them chilling our red wine. Feel they should’ve asked us first. Otherwise absolutely lovely.
