We had an excellent meal. I had the French Onion Soup, it was too intense. The mussels were good

We had a lovely brunch with friends at Le Petit Bistro, and the experience was delightful overall. The service was excellent, and our waiter, Peter, was absolutely fantastic — attentive, friendly, and made us feel very welcome. The menu offers a good variety to suit different tastes. The food was tasty, though a few elements could have been slightly better in terms of quality - hence the 4 stars. That said, the ambience was perfect for a relaxed catch-up, and the value for money was spot-on. We would definitely recommend it and are looking forward to returning!

We arrived early ( 7pm) and the restaurant was already out of portions of signature dishes / chicken pate and confit duck. The starters otherwise were excellent- best mussels I have into had in a long time. However, the mains were okay . Pepper sauce for the steak was sweet. I would have preferred a pepper flavour. Deserts also disappointing. The chocolate mouse cake was half frozen. The pear crumble had far too much cinnamon top. Unless the kitchen prepares properly we certainly won’t be back.
