Winter Venison and Red Wine Specialties

Enjoy a cozy table up close to one of our fireplaces and spectacular vineyard and mountain views, whilst savoring one of our hearty, satisfying venison specialties. Each dish showcases seasonal produce and venison prepared in a different, delicious way, and each recommended with a specific Lievland Vineyards red wine. The dishes will be available on our a la carte lunch menu every day through the colder months, and will also be included as part of our Fathers Day menu on 15 June.     Their business lunch menu is excellent value for money with exceptional food for great prices. A varied menu means there is something for everyone. The homemade cordial was incredible and the fireplace made it cosy for a cold winter day.

    Lievland Cafe is in such a beautiful setting, views across the mountain and vineyards, the service and staff were amazing and the food was absolutely delicious - we had the Springbok Pie, so good! And their wines are outstanding! Thank you!

    Nice ambiance- pleasant service! Food very average - no fresh juices only orange and no brown/wholewheat or seeded bread! Cuppachino good! Quite far out of Stellenbosch - wouldn’t go back!!

    We had the Breakfast brunch. Very good value for money since it includes all the beverages (orange juice, sparkling wine, water and hot beverages) as well. Although the food was generally very well prepared and presented, the gammon in the cheesy spinach and gammon pancake was quite tough
