An absolute gem in the Winelands! The stunning views, beautiful ambience and relaxed atmosphere make this wine farm restaurant a truly special experience. The food was exceptional, fresh, beautifully presented and full of flavor while offering excellent value for money. A perfect spot for great food, breathtaking scenery and a memorable experience. We keep on going back.

We had lovely Sunday outing to this peaceful valley overlooking a farm dam. My line fish with fennel, roast tomatoes and caponata main was standout good, but those who had the Sunday roast found it generous but a little underwhelming in terms of accompaniments. Service was efficient and attentive.

Lunched at Lievland Cafê on a Sunday for a birthday celebration. The food and service was excellent as well as value for money. Vegetarian options available and sufficient diversity on the menu to satisfy most diners. The venue for the restaurant has a beautiful view over pastoral scenery and dams and the buildings are exquisite examples of Cape Dutch architecture. Also walks around the dams and paddock. Ambience was given a 4 rating because the restaurant was full and there were several large parties, including a tour bus of foreign tourists and conversations became very lively. I am not against it but the acoustics seemed to amplify the sound and at times it was difficult to hear other members at our table. Highly recommended for food and experience off the beaten track.
