Classic techniques, local influences and close connections with suppliers of interesting produce inspire and guide menu changes through the seasons.

Picnics are available in the summer months, to be enjoyed outside on the lush lawns with farm, mountain and vineyard views.

    The ribs and hamburger were good. The pastry on the springbok pie seemed to have been microwaved - not so great

    Great other than the ridiculous speed bumps on the way in. If you drive any sport car with limited ground clearance, I wouldn't risk it. Hidden gem. Not too difficult to get a reservation. Relaxed atmosphere. Interesting menu that isn't too pricey either. Can't go wrong if you are looking for a nice place to have lunch in the Stellenbosch winelands.

    We were the last guests of the day, but exactly on booked time. We got the impression that the personal was very eager to find busy work and go home. Did not contribute to our total valuation of the place. Good food though.
