Situated on the Rhebokskloof Estate in the heart of the Paarl Winelands, Lume offers a fire-led fine dining experience shaped by season, place, and atmosphere.

Founded by Marco de Matos and led by Head Chef Lance Peters, the menu unfolds as a curated journey through Opening, From the Fire, and Final Light — each dish crafted over flame to illuminate flavour through smoke, texture, and balance.

Complemented by a carefully selected collection of Cape wines and original signature cocktails, Lume invites guests to slow down and experience dining as an evening to be savoured.

    Absolute gem! Under the management of Marco, this is a highly recommended venue! Stunning views, fine dining excellence, outstanding service. A must visit in the beautiful Paarl valley winelands!

    We had a wonderful lunch at Lumé. Great food, fabulously presented by friendly and knowledgeable waiters. The rack of lamb and lobster were very tasty. Lovely African touch to their fine dining offering. Kudos to the chef. And then of course the excellent Rhebokskloof wines. We'll be back.

    Had a lunch on a wintery day.The food was presented beautifully and tasty as one would hope for with fine dining.The setting overlooking a pond and lawn area with trees through large glass pannels was first class.On the expensive side as one would expect with fine dining but all and all good value for a special occasion.
