MIKO’s cuisine is best described as a taster to South African favourites with each of the seasonal dishes telling a story, using the freshest most local ingredients, which pair beautifully with our award-winning wine list. With its covered terrace, guests have the option of dining alfresco all year round.

A late afternoon cocktail on the terrace is the perfect way to relax, unwind and enjoy the stunning sunset whilst MIKO’s roaring fireplace in winter is perfect for pairing our MIKO Syrah with one of our seasonal warmer dishes.

    Its our third time at Mikos...it didn't disappoint we had a lovely time there again and we will be back.

    Miko at Mont Rochelle is such a special spot. With magnificent views over the Franschhoek Valley and fabulous food, it’s a winning combination. We had the tasting menu and each course was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. Standout courses were the textures of mushroom, the pea and prawn risotto and the sea bass fish with prawn bisque. The staff are wonderful - friendly and attentive. A fabulous all round experience. We are already planning our next visit.

    The Miko chefs delivered to us a superb meal. The mushroom starter was a triumph as was the pea risotto, whilst both the sea bass and ash rolled venison mains were both cooked and presented elegantly. The service was both discreet and efficient. We have not visited Miko for a while but we will be back.

    Lovely service and wonderful food. It was an experience rather than just a meal. We had our meal in the restaurant and went to the terrace for coffee. Would definitely recommend.

    Breathtaking spot. Waited over 2 hours for a meal that was mediocre. Bland, poorly plated below average food. We were told that because we ordered a starter, there is a break between courses. Seated at 1915, drinks at 2000, starter at 2015 and main at 2130. No apologies from staff. Go for a drink at sunset and go somewhere else for dinner.
