MIKO’s cuisine is best described as a taster to South African favourites with each of the seasonal dishes telling a story, using the freshest most local ingredients, which pair beautifully with our award-winning wine list. With its covered terrace, guests have the option of dining alfresco all year round.

A late afternoon cocktail on the terrace is the perfect way to relax, unwind and enjoy the stunning sunset whilst MIKO’s roaring fireplace in winter is perfect for pairing our MIKO Syrah with one of our seasonal warmer dishes.

    A Remarkable Turnaround at Miko My partner and I dined at Miko last year and, unfortunately, left disappointed—both the service and the overall experience fell short of expectations. However, we decided to give it another chance this year, and what a difference! It’s clear that Miko has invested in staff training. The service was attentive, warm, and professional throughout the evening. The food was nothing short of exquisite, with each dish showcasing creativity and bold flavors. The wine pairing was especially impressive, elevating every course. A special shout-out to Manager Elizma for her gracious hospitality and to Geraldine, our server, whose attentiveness and knowledge made the evening truly memorable. Miko has not only won us back but has set a new standard for fine dining. We’ll be returning next year!

    The same wine glasses are used for both white and red wine, and the starters are served in deep bowls, which ruins the overall visual impression.

    We enjoyed the experience however the food was quite disappointing. Apart from the potatoes, the food was barely warm. The gammon was so overcooked and dry and the turkey was just unappetising to look at and we didn't eat it. Desserts were nice. Service was very good. Overall is felt like catering for the masses, which was such a disappointment.

    Memorable experience. Reservation was smooth, service was quick. The meals were of good quality. When one of us had an issue with her food, the staff resolved it in no time
