Chef Pieter Vlok is passionate about food; he transforms simple ingredients with great skill into exquisite and effortlessly presented meals.
Pieter adds unique and authentic flavours to a variety of mouth-watering dishes, which reflect a South African personality. His ideas are bold and fresh and it is important to Pieter to present ‘real’ food perfectly.
We produce everything ourselves. And sometimes, when we can’t, we source only the best. 

Thoughtful care is taken over preparing our own stocks, sauces, ice creams, and even ageing our meat. We bake fresh foccacia, farmstyle and sourdough breads daily.

As ingredients are sourced mostly from the Boland area the menu changes regularly according to the availability of fresh produce, which keeps Pieter and his team challenged and inspired. Ingredients are delivered to our doorstep on a daily basis; our herb garden, however, sits right outside the kitchen.
For inspiration, we cast about in South African, Asian and European cuisine.

We strive for excellence in our food, wine and service in a relaxed atmosphere. The chefs are enthusiastic and love what they do.

    I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks for hosting our year-end function so beautifully. The event was exceptionally well organized, and you truly helped us celebrate the end of our year in such a memorable way. The food was absolutely fantastic, and your waiting staff were outstanding, friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist with a smile. I know I asked for quite a few things both before and during the event, and every request was handled with such patience and willingness. It made the entire experience seamless and enjoyable. A special thank you to Dawid for running the event so smoothly. Everything, from the setup, to the service, to the atmosphere, looked incredible. We genuinely appreciate your team accommodating us, even when we stayed a little past the allotted time. Thank you for putting up with us, for your kindness, and for making the evening truly beautiful. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.     We were there for breakfast, I had the mashed avo on ciabata. With more than enough avo, but the ciabata was a bit hard to cut. My friend had the mince and mushrooms on toast and it was nice. My husband had the bangers and mash, and he enjoyed it and it was a good portion. The service was very good.
