    We had a lovely evening at Nikkei last night. The service was excellent, the overall experience was wonderful, and the menu was interesting and well put together. The team did very well, and we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. Just one honest comment: the miso soup was very tasty, but it was not quite the miso soup one would expect in Japan. Otherwise, everything was very good and fairly priced for this level of quality. A special compliment to the pastry chef — the desserts were actually very good, especially the Dark Chocolate and Hazelnut Brownie. Well done to the whole team. I’ll definitely be back for more soon.
