    Great decor, good food though too much mayonnaise, unfortunately, making some dishes way too rich, unnecessarily. Brilliant service, very overpriced winelist. The 2 sitting policy is a very disappointing and inconsiderate 'big chain restaurant' approach, where 6pm is far too early for Capetonians and 8:30, way to late. The feeling of being hustled to be out by 8:15 is not something one appreciates when paying good money and enjoying a lingering evening with friends. Not a sustainable strategy.

    We had a very special evening celebration, our 31st wedding anniversary. The whole experience was awesome. The staff are amazing and well trained. We would return , most definitely.

    We had an amazing evening at Nikkei. The Black Omakase was an excellent choice. The food was delicious and the presentation impeccable. Our waitress was super friendly and attentive. This was my 3rd time at Nikkei and I'm sure coming back.

    Gorgeous venue, friendly and professional staff, and a beautiful ambience. We came for the Sunday sushi and sake special and were blown away by the value for money! Everything was delicious. Will absolutely be back again.
