The Homestead is a beautiful 1820’s heritage building, providing a unique and Victorian feel to the Southern Suburbs. The Homestead is a Private Functions Venue known in hosting weddings, birthday parties and private celebrations.

During the months of May, June and July The Homestead will be opening their doors to the public on Friday evenings offering a Bistro Style A La Carte Menu celebrating some of theirs and their guests’ favourites. Old and New! For all to enjoy.

The fireplace in the Dining room provides the perfect intimate indoor seating.

The Homestead is fully licensed offering a lovely selection of local wines, craft gins & port.

Please note that tables of 6 or more will require a Dineplan Deposit Payment and 12% gratuity will be added.

Card facilities & SnapScan is available but also accepting Cash & Dineplan Vouchers.

    Delicious food prepared with passion by a family-owned and run team. The Homestead is a warm, welcoming Heritage building set in beautiful gardens and surrounded by hand-tended kitchen gardens. Bistro Nights are a perfect way to celebrate with family or for an intimate evening out : 2 or 3 course menu options. Favorite starters: Grilled Haloumi, rocket and roasted peacan + honey drizzle salad and Tuna tacos. Best Mains: Beef rib-eye mouthwateringly delicious Small wine list of good wines to compliment all food. We love The Homestead as both a function venue and a location for small celebrations. Highly reccomend

    It was an absolutely pleasant and the ambience was wonderful. It was extra special for me as I shared the evening with my daughter, Emily who also works with The Homestead and I got the pleasure of meeting her team. Well done to you and your team for a job well done and continuing to add some calm and relaxation back into the dining experience. Well wishes on the renovations I will definitely visit againce once its completed. Compliments to the chefs the meal was absolutely delicious

    Food 10/10 !! The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting, making it the perfect place to enjoy a meal with family or friends. It's always a treat to be at the Homestead.

    Beautiful old homestead renovated to its former glory with a modern twist and the best roast beef I’ve ever had. In fact, everything was delicious and the service despite it being Father’s Day was amazing.
