Take a seat overlooking the Rickety Bridge vineyards. Sip a glassful of crisp estate wine and enjoy a delicious lunch while drinking in the splendour of the magnificent surroundings. Every creation from our team of talented chefs is given extra zest by the striking beauty of the setting and stunning views of the Franschhoek mountains.

Our menus lean into the seasons, wholeheartedly embracing our Franschhoek Valley surrounds. Expect to indulge in traditional home baked breads and local cheeses, the freshest eggs, vegetables and fruits from neighbours and always – the best quality meat and fish we can source. We serve a menu of bistro-style classics with subtle nods to our diverse South African culinary heritage.

The restaurant spills out from a cosy thatched area onto shaded decks with views over the vineyards and mountains.

    Nice experience but perhaps offer lighter meals at more affordable price as people spend a lot at tastings and pairings etc... And are already full when get to lunch time but a very nice experience in the peaceful setting. Thanks

    Expensive bland food. Not worth the money. It’s for tourists on the tram!

    Not good qhen your seated with a noice group having a party. It spoiled the whole experiance

    excellent food as usual. They have changed the menu but it was still as delicious with less choice

    Perhaps a little more light meal menu choice needed but service including wine tasting with lunch was friendly and good

    Disappointed to arrive and discover the menu had completely changed from the one on your website. The menu on the day was restricted to very few options.
