Service was not great, very loud, cluttered, far too much mayo used in the dish we ate, made the noodles and rice become a clumpy mess. starters were excellent.

I was genuinely excited to dine at Pocha, especially after having such a great experience at its sister restaurant Surasang and hearing glowing reviews from others. Unfortunately, this visit turned out to be one of the most disappointing restaurant experiences I’ve had. We started with the Seoul bulgogi, but the broth leaned overwhelmingly sweet and lacked the depth and balance that typically defines this dish. The banchan selection was equally underwhelming and didn’t deliver the variety and flavour you would expect from a Korean meal. Hoping for something more exciting, we ordered the spicy chicken feet, but again the flavours fell flat — mostly sweet and spicy without the complexity or balance that usually makes this dish so satisfying. At that point we decided to try something safer and ordered the fried prawns and calamari, but unfortunately both arrived over-fried and burnt, making them difficult to enjoy. The most disappointing element of the meal, however, was the cabbage kimchi banchan. It lacked the fermented depth and complexity that defines traditional kimchi, tasting more like cabbage tossed in a diluted gochujang mixture rather than something properly prepared. Overall, the experience felt incredibly underwhelming, especially given the reputation of the restaurant and the high standard set by Surasang. I had really hoped for a memorable Korean dining experience, but sadly this visit left me feeling disappointed.

Ordered chicken fried rice and fried gizzard. The short of it is that it was not to my taste.
