Postcard Cafe is named because of its’ picture perfect views, but also because of the diverse heritage of the owners of Oude Nektar farm, and guests who visit from all corners of the globe. Situated in the peaceful Jonkershoek Valley, home of Stark-Condé Wines, it really is “as pretty as a postcard”.


A variety of savoury and sweet dishes are served - breakfast, lunch, cakes, and desserts. The menu is diverse and dishes draw inspiration from a number of different cuisines.

    Beautiful setup !! Had some problems with the service from the kitchen, but the Manager was very apologetic as well as the servers. We will be back.

    We were surprised at the lack of vegan options on the menu, especially in an upmarket establishment like that. They did try and accommodate us however with one item on the menu the Dahl) that seemed vegan when we wanted to leave. The "V" on their menu is misleading as the dishes turned out to be vegetarian and not vegan. The beautiful views made up for it though.

    The food was absolutely delicious and the service was great. The most beautifully place to have lunch.
