Postcard Cafe is named because of its’ picture perfect views, but also because of the diverse heritage of the owners of Oude Nektar farm, and guests who visit from all corners of the globe. Situated in the peaceful Jonkershoek Valley, home of Stark-Condé Wines, it really is “as pretty as a postcard”.


A variety of savoury and sweet dishes are served - breakfast, lunch, cakes, and desserts. The menu is diverse and dishes draw inspiration from a number of different cuisines.

    Food was good although the menu is extremely limited. Setting is beautiful. Service was not great although restaurant was quite busy so it could have been that.

    The food was disappointing. We had burgers and the meat was full of gristle - not good quality. We have enjoyed good meals there in the past so we're not expecting to be disappointed - felt like the kitchen is under new management. Still a beautiful location but they need to get the food back up to standard.

    It is my favourite spot in Stellenboch for a uik business lunch. Perfect as usual.

    Great experience and wonderful location. Tried to book the day before for a12.30 or 1.pm or. 1.30pm slot but on the booking app these were grayed out, assumed all taken. So settled for midday. Noticed a number of empty tables over those times during our meal. Merely curious as to how this arises - so many cancellations.? Observation only.
