Quills Restaurant, in uniquely African fashion, offers guests the opportunity to experience spectacular restaurant dining in Kempton Park, Johannesburg at InterContinental O.R. Tambo Airport. An 18-metre (59 foot) porcupine quill mobile suspended from the ceiling of the restaurant sets the tone, as does the dramatic collage of traditional African masks. The spirit of Africa – its energy, originality, and passion – is reflected in its authentic cuisine.

Guests can enjoy delicious breakfasts, cosmopolitan lunches and contemporary dinners. Specialising in local dishes paired with outstanding South African wines, the restaurant’s distinctive atmosphere is one that reflects the warm hospitality of South Africa’s City of Gold. Quills Bar, meanwhile, serves an excellent variety of cocktails, local wines, ciders and beers, and provides the ideal opportunity to relax, socialise, or simply spend quality time with friends and family.

Even though we arrived late, your team graciously re-prepared our table and welcomed us so warmly. Your service is truly top-class — attentive, friendly, and professional throughout the evening. We were also touched by the complimentary birthday cake after our meal. It was such a thoughtful gesture and really made our celebration special. Thank you for your amazing hospitality.     All the steaks were overcooked - ordered medium rare, cooked medium well. Also ridicuously expensive. R650 for a very average steak is exorbitant
