Quills Restaurant, in uniquely African fashion, offers guests the opportunity to experience spectacular restaurant dining in Kempton Park, Johannesburg at InterContinental O.R. Tambo Airport. An 18-metre (59 foot) porcupine quill mobile suspended from the ceiling of the restaurant sets the tone, as does the dramatic collage of traditional African masks. The spirit of Africa – its energy, originality, and passion – is reflected in its authentic cuisine.

Guests can enjoy delicious breakfasts, cosmopolitan lunches and contemporary dinners. Specialising in local dishes paired with outstanding South African wines, the restaurant’s distinctive atmosphere is one that reflects the warm hospitality of South Africa’s City of Gold. Quills Bar, meanwhile, serves an excellent variety of cocktails, local wines, ciders and beers, and provides the ideal opportunity to relax, socialise, or simply spend quality time with friends and family.

    We waited 50 minutes for just 2 steaks which we ardered as we sat down. Then the 2 were served eventually the wrong way round! Very disappointed because last week we had super sreaks and served very well. Pity!

    No not at all, it's like your staff has been tild that they must get rid of us as soon as possbile. 3 or sometimes 4 ask the same questions. You can hardley finish your plate before it taken away as well as kneifes etc. Quilles is turned into a railwaystation cafeé unfortunatley :-(

    For the prices they charge they should get a decent chef. Steak was overcooked and poor quality meat. Tiny piece of fish for most R500. Very poor
