Midweek dinners under the stars, Friday nights with friends, special occasions celebrated in style, and a delicious breakfast menu – join us for a memorable dining experience in the heart of Plettenberg Bay.

The main dining room sits in the oldest part of the hotel, in the original building constructed in 1777 as an army barracks for the Dutch East India Company before being converted into an Anglican rectory in 1869. An exquisite, centuries-old stone wall adds warmth and character to the space while the building’s heritage inspires a bistro-style menu that draws on Dutch, English and South African influences.

    This is an excellent up market dining experience. The staff are friendly and the service is top class. If you want noise, tattoos and vulgarity this is not the place for you, but if you prefer sophisticated dining with excellent food and wine then this is your destination. 5 star across the board
