    That onion soup was sublime. It is my favorite soup in the whole world and Glen Carlou's was just right. It made my day - ten out of ten. Thank you

    The lamb shank was fall of the bone tender. Very tasty. Risotto was delightful. Lovely setting with amazing views. Ideal for Saturday or sunday lunch with friends and family. (Just allow extra travelling time due to roadworks and stop and go)

    So wonderful to be back at Glen Carlou for lunch. Lizette and Loyiso welcomed me back like family and looked after us with 5 star service. Thank you.

    Had a fabulous time there. We were 2 and had the winter special consisting of three dishes with 2 wine pairings wine pairing for R395. You could choose between onion soup or warm salad as a starter both of which were delicious. The mains were Ostrich and salmon also both excellent. The Ostrich was very tender and cooked just right. The salmon was cooked as requested which was seared and was also fabulous. Deserts were malva pudding not too heavy just right. The waitrons were all knowledgeable and on their game a great Sunday lunch was had by all. The venue had beautiful views.
