    We like Glen Carlou and have been coming for years. I just see this latest food experience was okay but not up to the usual standards. The seafood risotto wasn’t great nor the gnocchi. In fact, same with the lamb. All was serviceable but not like always.

    100% perfect day - the staff are friendly and efficient , food delicious , a small menu choice is great, and a view to die for!

    Was always one of my favorite wine farms but on this visit I see the standard two course or three course lunch menu has been discontinued. My wife had the lamb shank with mash and it was really good. I had the yellow tail but was disappointed the meal consisted of a small piece of yellow tail, one tiny potato rossti and some sauce. All for R240. I then realised if I wanted veg or wedges they should be ordered seperate at R55 a side dish. This would make the meal almost R350 and certainly not value. Anyway plenty more wine farms to try.

    I celebrated my 60th at Glen Carlou restaurant and it was superb, from the food , wine , ambiance and view to the lovely staff. Thank you for making my day so special.
