Hi there, great venue and friendly staff but the service was very slow and the venison was not hot when it arrived and after we sent it back it came back cold again. It was waived from our bill which we appreciated.

Overall very nice place. They need more staff because it takes a while to place a order

We had booked a picnic for 2 adults and 2 kids over the Easter Weekend. The setting is absolutely stunning, the staff are very friendly and helpful and the kids entertainment was top notch. We were a bit disappointed with the picnic - we received 1 small salad to share and 1 salmon and cream cheese sandwich - a bit tricky to share. There was also cheese, cold meats and preserves along with fresh bread. Luckily we were two ladies - I doubt that a man would be satisfied with the portion size. The cheesecake was delicious. Next time we will forego the picnic and opt for the pizzas and boerie rolls on offer. Overall a great experience and we will definitely return.
