We hosted my wife's 40th Birthday on the roof terrace. Lexi and the team were fantastic. The Rick's team were so attentive and accommodating. We had a fantastic time.

We just love Rick's. The decor, atmosphere food and views. Nothing beats a coctail on the rooftop terrace.

Overall, I had a great experience. The drinks and food were both very good, and the staff were friendly without being overly intrusive, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, the welcome experience left a poor first impression. As someone who also works in hospitality, it was one of the coldest and most awkward welcomes I’ve received. When I arrived, I gave my name and reservation time to the young hostess at the entrance. She checked the system alongside, I believe, the manager, a gentleman wearing a blue shirt. She then simply told me, “Go upstairs to table 209.” Since it was my first visit, I politely explained that I didn’t know where table 209 was. Her response was to tell me to “take the stairs, skip the middle floor, keep going until you reach the rooftop, and look for table 209.” The manager was standing there during this interaction, and I expected someone to step in and assist, but instead he just said, “Enjoy yourself.” When I arrived upstairs, I realized there were no visible table numbers, only reserved signs on larger tables. Thankfully, a gentleman upstairs kindly helped me find my table and took great care of me for the rest of the evening. I understand this may not be a five-star establishment, but escorting a first-time guest to their table feels like a basic hospitality standard. After my meal, I went downstairs to watch the game and noticed there was a different hostess working later in the evening; a more mature woman. She greeted guests warmly, with a bright smile, and personally assisted them with seating. Watching her interact with customers made it clear what had been missing from my own arrival experience.
