    We held my son's 21st party on the rooftop over the weekend and were blown away by, not just the food and the value for money, but by the superb service from Lexi, Pletton and the team. A number of our guests also commented on just how fantastic they all were! Definitely worth recommending and fully deserving of 5 stars in all aspects

    Delicious food, we enjoyed the burgers and especially the Moroccan tajines. The view from the roof terrace is out of this world. I definitely will be back and will tell my clients to do the same. Thank you again

    Two of our guests has been sick all night. BB burger was foe sure something wrong with it. The Shank Tangine was as tough as rubber. sorry but your food is bad.

    Dear Heste, Thank you for reaching out to us. I’m truly sorry to hear that two of your guests felt unwell and that the dishes didn’t meet expectations — this is certainly not the experience we want anyone to have. Just to clarify, the beef mince for our burgers was delivered fresh on Friday late afternoon, and we served over 40 burgers on Saturday alone. Nevertheless, we will be investigating this with our kitchen team immediately. The Lamb Shank should never be tough, and I will be addressing this with the chef as well. Had we been informed at the time, we would have gladly replaced it with a softer one on the spot. I’m sorry that this didn’t happen. I also understand your disappointment about not being seated on the roof terrace and instead being placed in the first-floor restaurant, as originally reserved by yourself on dineplan.     Really enjoyed my evening there. Was pleasantly surprised with the portion sizes. The tapas platter was fantastic and great value for money. Always enjoy Ricks.

    Amazing food and service, great vibe, staff were so friendly and helpful. Recommended to us by a local and we can really see why! We cannot wait to visit and eat at Rick’s again.

    The fish was good, thank you; the haughty, pretentious descriptions are not necessary , good food does not need foreign unknown language, which was inappropriate for my group of down to earth Germans

The dishes are indeed inspired by the rich flavors of Morocco and the Mediterranean, and some of our tajines are also named to evoke the spirit of the classic film "Casablanca" with their Arabic names in brackets - next to a detailed prescription of ingredients . We're proud to have served guests from Germany and across Europe over the past 20+ years, and are surprised to hear that our menu descriptions were perceived as pretentious. We also serve a selection of burgers and steaks, salads and tapas , am not sure what you called “haughty” language as there were simply described with all ingredients in it?     Given that there so few people, there was no excuse for the poor, slow service. Unless you had cut back on staff, in which case those remaining need to be more vigilant.
