    I've been a rievera costumer for years all our family celebrations we chose rievera on the vaal for their excellent views and service.. Since last year I've realized that somethings has changed.. I chose to ignore the warning signs and decided to take a group of ladies for woman's day weekend outing.. Wooow I was so disappointed.. 1st night we had to wait for 2 hrs to get our dinner.. 1 hour in a cold dinning area.. Dressed in our evening dresses. Decided to eat in our rooms as it was warmer there.. Waited another 1 hour for the food to come to our room.. As an organizer I felt so small as the ladies kept complaining to me.. I recommended the lamb shank for most as I knew it's their signature dish. To my disappointment the price went up from R210 to R270 but the potions were too small .. Lamb shank now looks like a chicken drumstick and tasted bland mash was a very small portion as well. .. Services in their dining area and restaurant needs drastic changes.. Hake and wings are still awesome.. Cocktail glasses are now very small.. I doubt i will be coming back or even recommend it.. Rievera used to be my family's second home.. We came 3 to 4 times every year.. But this weekend changed my experience for good.. 😢

    Staff are wonderful. Willing to assist. But the condition of the bathroom is poor. It appears that an inexperienced person did the tiling and grout. There was no cleaning of the grout. Bathroom needs a high pressure scrub.

    The food was not so great, oily and dry All dining tables are unstable and dancing with white pieces of tissue stuck underneath them
