    Thank you for the great time we had on the 1st of May. The staff is amazing and very helpful and the food was delicious. Thank you Ntate France, thank you Ausi Maki...you guys were so understanding and very helpful to us. However the manager is a very mean and unreasonable woman. She showed no concern or compassion for us or her staff. She really needs to change her attitude towards her staff and the clients.

    Very disappointed for the amount of money we paid. My home-cooked meals are honestly better than what I had there. The table setup was not impressive at all, and I’m not sure why the gift for adults was sweets. There was also no clear communication from the staff. We were already seated at our reserved table only to later find out that we had to fetch vouchers from reception ourselves. On top of that, there were flies everywhere, which made the experience even more unpleasant. I didn’t even stay for more than an hour. The cakes were dry, and overall it was a very bad experience considering the amount charged.

    Absolutely disgusted by both the service and the way ROV Resort handles criticism and customer complaints. I posted a respectful comment on the ROV Resort Instagram page about the terrible experience my mom, mother in law, and aunt had at the Mother’s Day buffet, only for my comment to be deleted instead of being addressed. When I called out the fact that the comment had been deleted, the comment section was suddenly closed. That alone says a lot. The food was apparently terrible, the service was poor, and to make matters worse, there were not even enough spoons for guests to eat with. Imagine charging premium buffet prices while guests wait for spoons to be washed and rotated between tables. Completely unacceptable and embarrassing. What makes this even worse is that my mother in law drove all the way from Alberton to Riviera specifically for the buffet, and it ended up being a complete disappointment from start to finish. The experience was absolutely not worth the amount paid. I genuinely feel that I should be refunded based on the poor quality of the food, the service, and the overall experience received. To make matters worse, I also sent an email raising my concerns and have still not received any feedback whatsoever. No accountability, no apology, and no attempt to resolve the matter. Deleting negative feedback instead of addressing it professionally speaks volumes about how little customer experience actually matters to this establishment.
