This legendary exclusive revolving restaurant was officially opened in February 1973. The Roma was born from a concept pioneered by Bartholoeo Ribero, Turi and Gino Leopardi. Now proudly owned by the Reelin Group and managed by the Leopardi brothers. We are proud to say that we are the only genuine revolving restaurant in the southern hemisphere and the 3rd of its kind in the world. Roma Revolving Restaurant also boasts the unique feature, as two others do, of a revolving window and floor area! The restaurant is situated on the 32nd Level of the John Ross House overlooking the whole of Durban and surrounding areas with excellent sea and bay views.

    Amazing experience with unbeatable views. Service was warm and old school classy. The staff made us feel welcome and the owner even stopped by to say hello and help with the menu. If you're in Durban or visiting this is a must do. It's not just dinner, it's an experience you'll remember. Will definitely be back

    Such a wonderful night out. Professional staff. Delicious meals. Stunning scenery. Our favourite part was the dessert trolley - such a treat. Will definitely visit again soon.

    Loved the personal touch of the restaurant owner taking our orders, and the experience as a whole was a good value for money. It's one of the best restaurants I'd come back to again and again. Looking forward to it's legacy.
