    I had the worst experience yesterday. We waited so long for our food, yet I Timeously submitted for the food them to be ready when we got there. I lost interest and taste cause while others were done eating, I had wait for my food. The space was so hot and only fans on the other side that did not help at all from where we sat. I was there before with my family; however yesterday I kind of felt embarrassed that I recommend the place to my collegues...I don't know how will make up to regain my trust but doubt it I will recommend the place any of my friends.

    Lovely venue. Great waiter but VERY POOR support from the kitchen and beverage/bar. Waited far too long for our beverages before the meal. Ordered coffee with hot milk with dessert. Milk arrived 10min AFTER receiving my coffee. Guests at the table next to us, received their starters AFTER they finished their main course. When we went to pay, the area around the till point was a total mess. Empty glasses, coffee/tea cups and open melted tub of ice-cream. A very messy workstation. No wonder we had poor service for our beverages. Our waiter was BY NO MEANS to blame. This rest solely on the managers shoulders. We would think twice before spending our hard-earned money there.

    The restaurant was great and the food was good but we had to wait about 20 minutes to get a table even though we had a reservation which was a bit disappointing but otherwise a good experience.

    The ambience was amazing, staff friendly and we were relaxed and felt attended too. Until we received our starters, after that the waitress seemed distracted, and her friendliness seemed to dissipate. The starter was very underwhelming. We had the prawns, which was lacking salt and smothered in a sauce which would have been delicious, until we realised it still had the shell on, which was not very visible with the amount of sauce. Our main course was fantastic, everything about it was tasty and well presented. Tender rump with chips and fall off the bone ribs. What more could we ask for. The dessert was most disappointing. I received a creme brulee with very little brulee and a gel like texture, not creamy at all. My partners cheesecake dreams was crumbly and very dry. My strawberry daiquiri was good, if I overlooked the huge chunks of ice, I kept biting into. The one my daughter ordered when she arrived was delicious, looked different too mine, tasted different and was so much smoother. It was as if 2 different people made it.

    I liked the overall atmosphere of this place. However , I won’t go back ever again. I clearly made a reservation for the courtyard , but we were given a table inside the restaurant. Secondly, their service is bad. They take long with serving and the starters we ordered were not available. When it came to the bill, I was so shocked to see that they added a R20 extra to our drinks. When I questioned the waiter about this , she said “there was a mistake on the system”. Their food is average , nothing special. The malva pudding was also dry, didn’t even taste like malva pudding. Also cheap ice cream that they’ve used. I’m not sure if it’s because we were Wikideals customers that we got treated this way but yeah I didn’t enjoy my birthday dinner there.

    We had a absolute good time , the food was delicious, the staff very friendly and the place is simply beautiful. Will definitely visit again

    Our experience went from bad to worse. Firstly we tried to make a booking using the telephone number listed for the restaurant. There was no answer. I reached out via Facebook and was told to book via DinePlan. I did this, made some special request too. Arrived, the restaurant was busy, we were just seated at first available seat inside the restaurant, which was a table on the walkway. I asked to be moved to the courtyard as i indicated on my booking request. No one asked about our booking. After seated for 30mins, we were asked if we ordered, we couldn't because no one came to our table. We eventually ordered using our wikideals voucher for a 3 course dinner. It was our wedding anniversary and we wanted something special, but alas. Eventually our mains arrived before the starter. I had ribs of which one piece (on top) was fresh and the bottom piece was a dry piece and hard as if it was yesterday's that was heated up. I was too hungry at this point and just said nothing. Starter then arrived, this was cold and not very tasty. We had to ask for our desert after 30mins from eating our mains. Hubby never received his drink, they forgot. Overall disaster anniversary dinner. The manager took my number when we left, saying he'll investigate and get back to us. Haven't heard from him again.

    We had a nice time food was good. Our waiter Maseti was exceptional. Next time we will ask for.
