Our Farm to Your Fork
We believe good food starts at the source.

Our beef, lamb and chicken are pasture-raised, our vegetables come predominantly from our own pesticide-free, regenerative farm project in Khayelitsha, and our fish is line-caught and wild whenever possible. We proudly support small-scale farmers, work only with family-run, traceable dairy, and craft everything from scratch — including our bread and pasta.

We cook over open fire and stick to what’s local, seasonal, and organic wherever we can. Even our food waste goes full circle — composted back into the soil that grows our next harvest.

Every plate tells a story. And it starts with care.

    We recently dined at this restaurant and was pleasantly surprised by the overall experience. The food was pretty good, offering solid value for money, and the service was truly excellent—attentive and courteous throughout. The ambience was very nice, creating a relaxed and inviting atmosphere. The loin of lamb was a standout dish, perfectly cooked and full of flavour, while the tuna was also exceptional. However, I was a bit disappointed by the madeleines, which didn’t quite meet the high standard set by the rest of the meal. All in all, it's a lovely spot worth visiting.

    My Girlfriend thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Tamborine. The food was phenomenal. Our waiter and the rest of the staff made us feel very looked after. I've already recommended Tambourine to everyone in the office this morning. Will be back soon. Thank you

    The restaurant has a fantastic selection of different dishes. The great thing is that you can share the dishes which means you can choose more items. Each plate is beautifully presented, and of excellent taste.

    What a great spot! The staff made sure we had a good experience from beginning to end and were always on hand to explain dishes, make recommendations and ensure we were comfortable. The cocktails were delicious.

    Tambourine was excellent. It is such a pleasure eating at a fine-dining restaurant where there are vegan meals readily available on the menu, and the vegetarian meals could be easily adjusted to make them vegan. The service was excellent and the food equally so. Definitely worth a visit.
