Our Farm to Your Fork
We believe good food starts at the source.

Our beef, lamb and chicken are pasture-raised, our vegetables come predominantly from our own pesticide-free, regenerative farm project in Khayelitsha, and our fish is line-caught and wild whenever possible. We proudly support small-scale farmers, work only with family-run, traceable dairy, and craft everything from scratch — including our bread and pasta.

We cook over open fire and stick to what’s local, seasonal, and organic wherever we can. Even our food waste goes full circle — composted back into the soil that grows our next harvest.

Every plate tells a story. And it starts with care.

    This was such a wonderful experience! The staff was lovely, the setting was amazing! The food! How long has it been since you really tasted FRESH food? With flavor! Ahh! It was wonderful! I will definitely be coming back!

    It is uncommon that the defining feature of a meal in Cape Town is the hospitality, and yet that is what stood out from my experience at Tambourine. Yes, the velvet-enrobed walkway and the food are memorable, but the staff's attention to detail, warmth and personal touches set them apart. Cannot recommend Tambourine enough.
