Our Farm to Your Fork
We believe good food starts at the source.

Our beef, lamb and chicken are pasture-raised, our vegetables come predominantly from our own pesticide-free, regenerative farm project in Khayelitsha, and our fish is line-caught and wild whenever possible. We proudly support small-scale farmers, work only with family-run, traceable dairy, and craft everything from scratch — including our bread and pasta.

We cook over open fire and stick to what’s local, seasonal, and organic wherever we can. Even our food waste goes full circle — composted back into the soil that grows our next harvest.

Every plate tells a story. And it starts with care.

    A third visit to Tambourine, and the kitchen continues to impress. The chef’s playlist set menu revealed a confident hand each course precisely conceived, generous with flavour, and unmistakably rooted in craft rather than trend. The wine list matches that ambition stride for stride, and service strikes the rare balance of warmth and polish. Few Cape Town kitchens sustain this level of consistency across repeat visits. A genuine standout, and I’ll be returning.

    A very nice restaurant with some different options on the menu. We really enjoyed the king klip and steak small plates.
