Our Farm to Your Fork
We believe good food starts at the source.

Our beef, lamb and chicken are pasture-raised, our vegetables come predominantly from our own pesticide-free, regenerative farm project in Khayelitsha, and our fish is line-caught and wild whenever possible. We proudly support small-scale farmers, work only with family-run, traceable dairy, and craft everything from scratch — including our bread and pasta.

We cook over open fire and stick to what’s local, seasonal, and organic wherever we can. Even our food waste goes full circle — composted back into the soil that grows our next harvest.

Every plate tells a story. And it starts with care.

    Sham it was so quiet at lunch time. Food very good although one or two dishes less than perfect. Bread was superb. Will definitely come back in an evening - the great space need more buzz!! Lovely attentive service!

    Second time at Tambourine and it didn’t disappoint. The menu is interesting and tries its best to play with multiple flavour profiles on each dish. The ambience is welcoming and the service is excellent. Definitely worth a try if you haven’t been.
