    Afternoon tea at Fairlawns is truly one of the best afternoon teas in Joburg and that is coming from someone who has tried more than 10 across the city! The beautiful setting and serene ambience and the service was attentive and professional. The food was impressive. I loved the duck cherry pie and beef pastrami with honey and rye bun and my daughter couldn’t stop raving about the scones. An indulgent experience that delivers on every level. I will be coming back.

    We spent a warm winter afternoon in the sunny garden taking High Tea under an umbrella - drinking delicious tea, eating gorgeous little tit-bits (the mushroom vol-au-ent and the scones were the stand out items for us). The staff were friendly, the cat was cute and our waitress was knowledgeable. Unhurried and personal.
