    The main course braised Swartland Lamb were tasting (very small) portion size without any indication of this on the menu. This main course came with no side (only one baby carrot) and the waiter made no effort to advise/encourage us to order sides in addition to supplement the meal. It was not an adequate main meal. Desert Coffee and chocolate came without chocolate fondant as presented 3 weeks ago (under the same name), the restaurant did not bother to change the name. 2 courses out of 3 were incredibly disappointing. Ladies toilets were blocked and occupied with other guests using it as a change room for different outfits. I have been a guest of this hotel and restaurant since 2023 and had outstanding experiences previously. In the light of this I had no reservation or concern hosting a group here. Unfortunately, it has been a disappointment.

    We ordered cocktails at 7pm so we could have sundowners on the terrace. By the time the sun set at 7:30 our drinks had clearly been forgotten. I had to go back inside to remind the staff of the order TWICE. Finally, we went up to the bar area and had to order the cocktails all over again as the message from the restaurant had obviously not been passed to the bar, despite numerous attempts. This was quite disappointing and embarrassing for me as the host towards my guests.
