The Blockman is a place to celebrate life. It’s a place where the people who work there know you by name. It’s a place for parties, a place to dine with family and friends. Head Chef & Owner Vassilios Holiasmenos has taken a new approach for the Blockman. With a menu that celebrates all aspects of the animals we use. We cut out the middlemen and focus on the process of breaking down and aging all our meat using the whole animal in celebration of its flavors and textures.

    The staff were in a hurry to clear the table . We were 4 people eating and the one plate was collected long before the other 3 were even half way through their meal . The bread was cleared before it was even finished and we were charged again when we asked for 1 more slice to have with the marrow . Most establishments provide bread at Jo charge . We paid twice @ R38 a portion and probably ate less tha.n 1 portion in total . Very off putting and hard to enjoy oneself when this happens

    Only issue was that the my partner ordered the lemon and herb chicken but was brought the peri peri chicken. Otherwise a lovely evening

    This restaurant is my Husbands favourite, the food is amazing and you can never get a better experience anywhere else than here. Big up to the manager by coming to our tables to confirm if we are happy and the friendly waiters for fast response and teamwork ❤️❤️❤️
