The Blockman is a place to celebrate life. It’s a place where the people who work there know you by name. It’s a place for parties, a place to dine with family and friends. Head Chef & Owner Vassilios Holiasmenos has taken a new approach for the Blockman. With a menu that celebrates all aspects of the animals we use. We cut out the middlemen and focus on the process of breaking down and aging all our meat using the whole animal in celebration of its flavours and textures.

    We had a lovely meal. Only disappointment was the prawn starter - very expensive and it wasn’t great. Prawns were underdone (translucent flesh) and needed seasoning. Apart from that no complaints other than the overpriced wine and the sound management is poor - very loud inside

    I have been to The Blockman a few times and I must say this was not the best meal I have had there. I ordered the signature rump steak which was a little tough and chewy. A bit disappointing for a place that prides themselves on a good steak. The service was great as always.

    Back part of the restaurant is very noisy making it difficult to have a conversation without yelling.
