The Blockman is a place to celebrate life. It’s a place where the people who work there know you by name. It’s a place for parties, a place to dine with family and friends. Head Chef & Owner Vassilios Holiasmenos has taken a new approach for the Blockman. With a menu that celebrates all aspects of the animals we use. We cut out the middlemen and focus on the process of breaking down and aging all our meat using the whole animal in celebration of its flavours and textures.

    Food was outstanding as was the service. The only problem are the acoustics when the restaurant is full it’s very loud. Otherwise a lovely evening!

    I was quite disappointed by my recent experience at Marble. The steak was excessively charred, resulting in a harsh burnt flavour, while the gratin lacked depth and seasoning. The sticky toffee pudding was unfortunately overly sweet. I had also arranged in advance for a congratulatory message to be added to my friend’s dessert, but this was not carried out. Given that my previous visits have always been enjoyable, this experience was especially disheartening.
