    Very bad experience at Cod father Sandton, not worth a 1 star Ordered veg spring rolls, sweet chili sauce was drizzled all over instead of on a small side bowl. Waiter was informed, taken to the kitchen, same spring rolls was returned chili sauce wiped off & dip in hot oil. Mains ordered veg pasta, again aubergine & cream was raw / uncooked. Ordered penne was served with Linguine pasta & a dessert spoon. Also ordered Salmon middle section raw. Manger on duty was fully aware of the incident; her reply sincere apologies. Paid the bill, tip the waiter (not her fault) & left with absolute disappointment. Next day called the Manager on duty to this day no reply (4 days)

    Dear Merlin, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We are truly sorry that your visit fell so far below the standard we strive to deliver. We sincerely apologize for the way your vegetable spring rolls were handled after you raised your concern. This should have been addressed by preparing a fresh portion, and we understand why this left you disappointed. We are equally sorry that your vegetable pasta was served with undercooked aubergine and sauce, that you received linguine instead of the penne you ordered, and that your salmon was not cooked correctly. These are unacceptable oversights and are not reflective of the quality we aim to provide. We also regret that, despite speaking with our manager during your visit, you left feeling that your concerns had not been properly resolved. To make matters worse, not receiving a return call after reaching out the following day was unacceptable, and we sincerely apologize for this lack of follow-up. Thank you as well for recognising that the situation was not your waiter's fault and for still choosing to tip them despite your experience. We truly appreciate your kindness. Your feedback has been shared with our management and kitchen teams so that these issues can be thoroughly investigated and addressed. We understand that an apology cannot undo your experience, but we are genuinely sorry for the disappointment and frustration caused.
