Our visit to the Conservatory was wonderful. Sometimes, when we go out for lunch or dinner, I feel that I have to say something, but this time I / we just sat for most of the time, drinking in the beautiful surroundings and the amazing weather, and of course the delicious lunch! I had the linguini, and Janet had the fish. I'll say it again, delicious! And the bread, wow! Thank you for an unforgettable experience.

They didn't have my reservation. Despite me receiving a confirmation. Was placed away from the seat I had requested. I went for the ambience, which I couldn't fully appreciate as I had to sit in the shade with my back to the view of the garden. The food was ok, I had the steak tartare and the Caesar salad with prawns. A bit bland, nothing stand out, too many blobs of mayonnaise and nothing sharp to cut through the richness. The bread with spread had been sitting out and had formed a crust. All in all the cellars is a wonderful place to just enjoy the beautiful setting. Food wise, I think they could sharpen their menu with some more zesty light bites during summer.

This is always a beautiful special venue! Thank you. And the service is too class. Well done! The food was mediocre. The bobotie just average and tasted like ordinary church bazaar kerrie en rys. The sirloin tasted funny. The springbok meat was good though. And the desserts were superb.

It is such a pleasure to lunch at the Cellars Hohernot, from the security at the gate warning tha Concierge that my wife is disabled, the assistance with our wheelchair on arrival and departure, the table we were allocated, the attentive, friendly service to the wonderfully prepared and presented meal, all add up to make it an occasion to repeat.
