Nestled in a sweeping landscape beneath a majestic tree, the Frame House, a wood and iron structure, houses the wine tasting venue for Bosman Hermanus in the Upper Hemel-en-Aarde Valley.

This sustainably built, minimalist space stands out from the rest for its peace and tranquillity, uncluttered views and natural beauty. This child-friendly venue is the ideal place to relax and unwind with friends and family. Enjoy tailor-made wine tastings presented by well-trained staff while enjoying panoramic views and a selection of tapas-style small plates. There is a hut for private bookings, a hiking trail and play area with an informative, fun meander through the fynbos.

Seating is limited so booking is essential to ensure an intimate atmosphere.

    One of our most memorable days in the Hemel en Aarde Valley! Choosing Bosman was truly the best decision — from the breathtaking scenery and elegant setting to the outstanding wine and food. The Frame House offered a warm, inviting ambiance with magnificent mountain views. The platters were exquisite, and the wine tasting paired beautifully with the dishes. The hostess who guided us was not only entertaining but also impressively knowledgeable about the wines. My friends and I agreed this is a place worth visiting at least once a month.

    Always a lovely spot to relax and enjoy the amazing views. Sometimes service is a bit slow but the food and wine are great. Something needs to be done about the flies around the food

    Hi, we arrived on Sunday 5th for a Birthday celebration. 30% of the wines were out of stock, and ran out of ice at 1pm.

We’re very glad to hear that you enjoyed the food, though we’re sorry that other aspects of your visit did not meet your expectations. Over the Easter weekend and school holidays, we experienced an exceptionally high volume of guests. As a working winery with a broad and dynamic wine list, certain wines can sell out faster than anticipated during peak periods. While we always aim to keep a wide selection available for tasting and by the glass, the popularity of some wines meant that certain wines of the list were unfortunately unavailable on the day of your visit. We also sincerely apologise for running out of ice during service. This was a direct result of the unusually busy conditions, and while it reflects how well supported, we were over the weekend, we recognise that this should not have impacted your experience. We are taking steps to ensure we are better prepared for similar high-demand days in future. Thank you again for your feedback.
