The Frame House is a refreshment station from which you can explore both nature and your place within it. Soak up the views from the Frame House verandah or for the more adventurous, amble up the mountain path to absorb the stillness broken only by the rustling bushes or soft bird call. At the top enjoy a 360º view of the Hemel-en-Aarde Valley. From there you can see all the way across Walker Bay to Gansbaai in the South and Hangklip in the West. Delicious tapas-style treats complement the wine tasting and superb coffees are on offer at the Frame House. All the wines served are part of the Bosman Family Vineyards range and are available for purchase.

The wine tasting was amazing all due to our waiter, Watson who had a wide range of knowledge not only on the wines, but the surrounding areas as well.

Excellent service. I dealt with Lindy who so graciously assisted me with a set up in the Erica hut overlooking the ocean for my wedding Anniversary. The food and wine did not disappoint either. It was not my first time at The A Frame House, and wont be my last

The platter has too little we felt for R185. The sundried tomato salsa was very good and the blue cheese on the platter (for people who do not eat blue cheese), really good. The flatbreads are good. Nigel was extremely friendly as well as Watson, enjoyed being there. They could check in when doing the wine tasting a little sooner to ensure guests are not sitting with empty glasses as a pointer.

Lovely spot for wine tasting and a light lunch. Wines were superb and the staff extremely knowledgeable. Will be back.
