Nestled in a sweeping landscape beneath a majestic tree, the Frame House, a wood and iron structure, houses the wine tasting venue for Bosman Hermanus in the Upper Hemel-en-Aarde Valley.

This sustainably built, minimalist space stands out from the rest for its peace and tranquillity, uncluttered views and natural beauty. This child-friendly venue is the ideal place to relax and unwind with friends and family. Enjoy tailor-made wine tastings presented by well-trained staff while enjoying panoramic views and a selection of tapas-style small plates. There is a hut for private bookings, a hiking trail and play area with an informative, fun meander through the fynbos.

Seating is limited so booking is essential to ensure an intimate atmosphere.

    We had a really nice visit. The setting is beautiful the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. We really enjoyed the wines and the meals we chose. It is definitely a farm I will revisit

    Food was fresh and warm on a cold day. Staff was lovely but a little short staffed.

    This is a beautiful place and the sharing platter and wines were good. The server was polite and did what was necessary but was not warm or chatty- a shame. No protea fields visible from restaurant which was our reason for choosing this venue. I did ask about them and was told that he knew nothing about that side of things.

Regarding the proteas, with over 180 hectares of conservation area across the farm, there are proteas in various areas of the property. They can be seen as you drive onto the farm, along the walk up to the Tasting Room and in the surrounding areas of the property. The proteas are also at their fullest bloom in spring, when the display is particularly beautiful. We appreciate your feedback and will take your comments on board with our team.
