And while The Grillhouse is famous for its steaks and ribs, the menu caters for everyone, with a range of salads, chicken, seafood and vegetarian dishes on offer (not to mention the legendary brownies and ice cream).

With their art deco furnishings and subtle lighting, reminiscent of the classic New York grillhouse, the décor cleverly combines raw face brick, black leather seating and fine timber to create a warm earthy feel. There are also private dining rooms, and a wine cellar for you to choose from a huge selection.

    We celebrated our wedding anniversary and the manager (Paul) and waiter (Becky) was great! They made our evening so special! The food as always was great!

    The food is very good especially the steak, I've been here twice recently and the service needs to keep up. For example, after serving bread, the waiter should clean the table in time. Choose 12 oysters, if the number of guests is six, the waiter only provides two small forks, should provide six small forks more appropriate. Including after the meal, you should take the initiative to provide wet wipes to facilitate the cleaning of your hands, and do not need to let guests take the initiative to ask for requirements. I hope the restaurant can improve its service quality and attract more loyal customers. Finally, the entrance is in the area of construction, if it can be completed as soon as possible and the same appearance as the restaurant before, it is more perfect to enjoy the sunset.

    My partner and I had organised a welcome dinner at the Grillhouse Sandton for our families to get know each other, some had travelled from far. We were super impressed from reservation to the meal, the staff were prompt to respond, attentive on the day and made our time together special! Food was a 10/10 of course!
