The Grillhouse Sandton is a regular mealtime destination for local and international businesspeople, as well as being a firm family favourite restaurant. It is here where you can even often spot top businessmen, celebrities and politicians.

And while The Grillhouse is famous for its steaks and ribs, the menu caters for everyone, with a range of salads, chicken, seafood and vegetarian dishes on offer (not to mention the legendary brownies and ice cream).

With their art deco furnishings and subtle lighting, reminiscent of the classic New York grillhouse, the décor cleverly combines raw face brick, black leather seating and fine timber to create a warm earthy feel. There are also private dining rooms, and a wine cellar for you to choose from a huge selection.

    I spoke to Bheki to assist me with popping the question to my now fiancee. Bheki moved me from the table I initially was allocated and have me the best table with a perfect view. The food was amazing as always and the proposal was nothing shot of PERFECT. Thank you to all involved
